Skateboard pro and entrepreneur Nick Tershay, aka Nicky Diamond, is so ready to skate away from his Hollywood Hills home that he’s trimmed the price from $7,199,000 to $6,995,000 after almost a year on and off the market.

The 33-year-old first vaulted to success as a professional skateboarder, then as a designer of skateboard accessories and fashion through his retail business, Diamond Supply Co. He bought the four-bedroom, seven-bath, striking contemporary in 2015 for $6.6 million.

The following year, the Sunset Plaza address made headlines when five armed men broke in and stole more than $2 million worth of jewelry and weapons, according to police reports.

The 5,063-square-foot home is unassuming from the street.  From inside, however, its value becomes immediately evident. Four stories cascade down the hill, and each floor has unobstructed city and ocean views that can also be enjoyed from the “whopping” deck, which is perfect for entertaining.

Originally built in 1978, the house was taken down to the studs and completely rebuilt, with sleek, minimalistic lines, in 2013. It’s currently a state-of-the-art smart home, with a DomVision home automation system, built-in iPads, and electronic shades. There’s also a cutting-edge surround-sound system and a home theater done in lipstick red.

Built to accommodate everything you would ever need to keep in shape, the house has a steam room, sauna, gym/yoga studio, massage room, and outdoor pool. And to feed the appetite you’ll doubtless work up using those facilities, there’s a Boffi kitchen with Miele and Wolf appliances, plus an additional kitchenette.

This is the second hillside home Tershay has bought and put on the market in the last five years. He purchased a posh party pad in the hills of Studio City for $2,499,000 in 2012, and sold it for $3,225,000 in 2015, after slashing his original asking price by more than half a million.

Lately, Tershay has been spending a lot of time away from L.A., launching a European Diamond Supply Co. headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.
